The Hotel Novapark was openend for the first time in September 1995, as a small hotel called ‘Garni’ with 13 rooms. In the course of the time the house was expanded at five stages. 

• 1996: in the course of the first enlargement 40 hotel rooms, three seminar rooms, the restaurant and our wellness on the basement was created.
• 1999: the congress departement on an area of 400 square-metres, 30 new rooms and 10 appartments were established.
• 2003: the ‘jewel’ of our house, the Spanish- Tapasbar called ‘Corrida’ with its fascinating Aquaterrarium was born and six further seminarrooms were built.
• 2004: in the field of seminars and congresses the hotel got seven further rooms.
• 2006: since our last and latest expansion of rooms and the establishment of our wellness oase Nova-Spa the ‘Novapark’ presents the largest and best hotel area in the field of seminars, meetings, workshops, congresses..
• Moreover, we are the second largest hotel in Graz with the best and most extensive offers for holding seminars, congresses and various events!
• 2009: expansion of the spa area: a new relaxation room with about 23 relaxing lounges and a direct connecting aisle to the hotel
• 2010: expansion of the wonderful terrace (about 40 more sunbeds)
• April 2010: 420m² solar energy plant
